The Miami Suns 6th grade team had an impressive showing at the USSSA Super Slam XIII tournament. The 6th grade squad won the tournament by defeating the South Florida Lady Lightning by a score of 60-26, in the championship game.

Coach Donneal Fords dynamic backcourt of Jaiyah Smith and Bella LaChance, strong all around play from Mia Jones and Maurrisa Edwards and outstanding contributions through out the tournament from everyone else.

Bella LaChance captured tournament MVP, while Maurrisa Edwards and Toniyah Washington captured all tournament team honors.
