2017 Sunshine State Showdown Registration

Essence Girls Basketball and The Miami Suns Girls Basketball organizations are proud to bring you the 1st annual Sunshine State Showdown!

The 2017 Sunshine State Showdown (previously known as the Sunshine State Showcase in 2016) will be the first NCAA view period event of the year. The Sunshine State Showdown will be open to all 7th grade thru 11th grade girls basketball travel teams. All teams are guaranteed they will play four games.

The Showcase will be taking place at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL on Friday April 21, 2017 through Sunday, April 23, 2017.

Cost

$350/per team

To register your team for the Sunshine State Showdown, please fill out the form below.

Before participating in an NCAA-certified event, all participating coaches will have to complete the NCAA-required background check and educational course.

You will not be able to submit an event/league application nor create a team roster prior to obtaining your USA Basketball GOLD License. Please go
to www.usab.com/NCAALicense and fill out that application right away.

Additionally, the coach would need to be entered as a coach in the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS); meaning that the coach either 1) created a roster in the BBCS, 2) was added to a roster an assistant coach in the BBCS, or 3) has been hired as a coach at an individual event.
