About

A Rich Tradition in excellence
Welcome to the Miami Suns Girls Basketball organization, one of the country’s premier girls basketball programs, proudly based in Miami, Florida. Since 2000, the Miami Suns have built a national reputation for developing elite talent, competing on the biggest stages, and producing results that extend far beyond the game.
Our comprehensive program serves athletes from elementary through high school, providing a platform for development, exposure, and long-term success. With over 200 college alumni, 9 WNBA Draft picks, multiple USA Basketball gold medalists, and players representing more than 10 countries, the Miami Suns continue to impact the game at every level.
Our mission is to help young women reach their full potential both on and off the court. Our experienced coaching staff is committed to developing complete players—skilled, disciplined, and prepared to succeed at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. Alumni such as WNBA MVP and Olympic gold medalist Sylvia Fowles, along with WNBA players like Erlana Larkins and Kiki Harrigan, are a reflection of the standard and legacy built within our program.
With the Miami Suns, basketball is about more than competition. We emphasize character, leadership, and a strong work ethic, creating an environment where players grow as athletes and individuals. Our teams compete nationally on premier platforms, including the Nike EYBL circuit, providing unmatched exposure and opportunities for advancement.
We are proud to represent Miami—a global city and one of the country’s premier destinations—while maintaining a family culture that has defined our program for over two decades. Whether pursuing college basketball opportunities or striving for personal growth through the game, every player who joins the Miami Suns becomes part of a legacy that continues to evolve.
Join the Suns Family and experience a program built on tradition, driven by development, and defined by results.
