The Miami Suns Youth Development Organization is proud to present the 2012 South Florida Girls Basketball Exposure Weekend! The Exposure weekend begins on September 28th through 30th, 2012 and will be held at Dr. Michael M. Krop High School, in Miami, Florida.
The 2012 South Florida Girls Basketball Exposure Weekend will feature two events: The Miami Suns Girls Basketball Team Showdown and the Stars Under The Suns Girls Basketball Exposure Camp. Both Exposure Weekend events are NCAA CERTIFIED.
The Miami Suns Girls Basketball Team Showdown will feature teams competing against one another from all over the state of Florida and a few from from different parts of the country. This event is designed to help young ladies showcase their talents within their own team setting. Top Programs from Florida that will be in attendance include: Miami Suns, Central Florida Elite. Blue Star, FGB, So-Fla Jaguars, Florida Angels, Florida Vision, Hollywood Eagles and the nationally-ranked New Jersey Sparks will also be participating in both events.
The Stars Under The Suns (SUTS) camp will give young ladies an opportunity to showcase their basketball talent in front of College Coaches from around the country and scouts from the Collegiate Girls Basketball Report. This will be the perfect opportunity for college caliber athletes to be seen and evaluated. Participants in the Stars Under The Sun Girls Basketball Exposure Camp will be placed on teams of 8 to 10 players, and play in 4 games, and have an opportunity to participate in the Camp All-Star Showdown on Sunday afternoon.
This event is open to players in the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 classes, and the format is designed to provide players a chance to compete in front of colleges from across the nation. Our objective is to assist each participant in enhancing her chance for earning the top possible collegiate scholarship. Notable players that have attended Stars Under The Sun Exposure Camp in the past include WNBA All-Star Sylvia Fowles, Erlana Larkins, Erica White, Matee Ajavon, Alicia Harvin, Dorian Williams, Dupree Bowden,and many more.

Each packet includes schedule of games, full team roster of all the teams participating in the Team Showdown and extensive player information for all the players participating in the Stars Under The Sun Girls Basketball Exposure Camp.
