Abilgail Hsu Takes Home Second Ivy League Women’s Basketball Weekly Honors
PRINCETON, N.J. – After opening the 2019-20 Ivy League women’s basketball campaigns with home wins this weekend, Yale’s Roxy Barahman earned Ivy League Player of the Week, while Columbia’s Abbey Hsu claimed Rookie of the Week honors.

Abbey Hsu, Columbia (Fr., G – Parkland, Fla.)
- Helped Columbia to its first Ivy League season-opening win since 2014
- Scored a game-high 17 points, including 8 straight Columbia points in the fourth quarter to spur the Lions to a come-from-behind victory over Cornell, 76-66
- Made a career-high 5 three-point field goals against the Big Red
- Leads Columbia and ranks No. 11 in the Ivy League in scoring (12.4) Top 10 in the league in steals (1.6)
