Team Fowles and Miami High’s highly-touted junior center Beatrice Mompremier earned Gatorade Florida Player of the Year honors. Mompremier averaged 14.5 points, 15.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.7 blocks per game this season to lead the Stingarees. She also earned MVP honors at the state final four and is a first team All-State selection. Beatrice looks to be a vital part and one of the leaders of Team Fowles this summer.

Mompremier is also a finalist for the Gatorade National Player of the Year award which will be announced later this month.

The Miami Suns Organization would like to congratulate Beatrice on winning the Gatorade Player of the Year award for Florida and on winning a state title for the Miami High Stingarees as well. We would also like to congratulate Mompremier for her continued outstanding hard work on and off the court.
