The Miami Suns Memorial Day Event in just two years has become one of the premier events in the country Memorial Day Weekend. This year the event featured 40 teams from the state of Florida and the majority of the state’s top talent from north to south. Here are some of the top kids from this past weekend in West Palm Beach. We have spent much of the year uncovering the big time middle school talent of the Orlando Yellow Jackets, Cape Coast Titans, and Florida Future but will focus on some of the top high school players in Florida here.
Notable Miami Suns Players
Beatrice Mompremier 6-5 C Miami Senior High 2015 – One of the most gifted players in the country has improved exponentially since her start at Miami High and joining the Miami Suns. While Mompremier typically is someone who feeds off offensive rebounds and dump downs this weekend she showed promise receiving the ball in the paint and scoring off of post moves. One of the most impressive kids on defense in the state already will likely be a National Top 25 recruit with Jonell Williams when the time comes.
