Long time Miami Suns standout Jacaira “Iggy” Allen has committed to play basketball at Mississippi State University next fall.

Jacaira, also know as “Iggy”, a 5’10 guard from Dillard High School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, has been a mainstay for the Miami Suns and Team Fowles over the course of the last 4 years.

Allen is rated as one of the best guards in her class. Allen earned FABC 5A All-State honors and 5A-2A Player of the Year honors for Broward County in the 2014-2015 season, when she led her Dillard Panthers to a class 5A state title. Dillard was also a runner-up in the Dick’s Sporting Goods High School National title game. Allen averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds a game in 2014.

The entire Miami Suns organization would like to congratulate Jacaira on her commitment to Mississippi State University and for all of her hard work, inside the classroom and on the basketball court. The Miami Suns wish Jacaira success in her high school season in 2015-2016.
