Kiani Lurry Commits to Texas State University

Team Fowles Kiani Lurry has committed to play basketball for Texas State University.

Lurry, a 5’10” guard from Nova High School in Davie, FL is one of the top girls basketball players in South Florida. Lurry, a four-year player for the Nova Titans, was an All Broward County performer as a sophomore and was named to the FHSAA State Championships All Tournament team in 2012. In 2013, Kiani was named most valuable player of the Jr. Orange Bowl tournament when she averaged 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.

Off the court, Kiani holds a 4.2 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society. Lurry earned the AutoNation Scholar Athlete of the Month award  for May 2014 for her outstanding performance on the court and in the classroom.

The Miami Suns basketball organization would like to congratulate Kiani for all her hard work, both on the court and inside the classroom. We wish Kiani the best of luck during the 2014-2015 high school season and next year at Texas State University.
