The Miami Suns Girls Basketball Program would like to extend a big congratulations to Mikaela Pyatt on her commitment to play basketball at the collegiate level and acceptance to New York University (NYU). NYU is one of the nation’s top prestigious universities known for it’s high academics.

Pyatt, the 5’11 forward, from Gulliver Prep high school has been a big part of the Suns Basketball program, leading Miami Suns Red Elite to a championship this past summer. She led Suns Red Elite in in minutes played and rebounds and was second in assists. Mikaela is also an exceptional student-athlete off the court, as an AP and honor student in the classroom, achieving a GPA over 4.37.

Congrats to Mikaela for putting in lots of hard work in the gym and in the classroom. The Miami Suns Girls Basketball Organization is proud to have you as one of the best alumni in program history. Congrats on your acceptance to NYU and we wish you the best of luck at the next level!
