The Suns Girls Basketball program will feature six teams this spring and summer after a successful 2011 season. A year ago, The Suns Girls Basketball program carried four teams. After much demand for more Suns basketball, program director Miguel Diaz and Obel Cruz decided that two new teams will be introduced. The 9th Grade Suns Basketball team and the 10th Grade Suns basketball team will join an already talented middle school Team Larkins and high school teams, Suns Red Elite, Suns White, and the nationally ranked Team Fowles.
Elite Coaching Staff
With all six teams and there talent filled rosters, one can only imagine what the coaching staff would be like. The Miami Suns Basketball Staff brings in experience in coaching
and skills development areas from both at the high school and collegiate level.

Strength of Schedule
Teams in the Suns Girls Basketball Program will be competing against some of the best talent in the nation this season. Tournaments include the Deep South Classic in North Carolina, the FGB Showcase in Lakeland, Florida, the AAU Junior Showcase in Orlando, FL and our own Miami Suns Girls Basketball Memorial Day Classic.
